Maintenance Engineer (TS)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain Tabber Stringer (TS) machines used in the solar cell stringing and tabbing process.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure maximum uptime and machine reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in TS machines, including mechanical, electrical, and automation (PLC/HMI/servo) faults.
• Inspect and replace worn parts, perform cleaning, lubrication, and update software as required.
• Conduct quality checks on cell strings and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams for process improvements and technical support.
• Train operators and junior staff on TS machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies during all activities.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelors in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance of tabber stringer or similar automated machinery in solar module manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in PLC, HMI, servo motors, and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
