Roles & Responsibilities
· Perform routine mechanical maintenance and inspections on CNC machines (e.g., Fanuc,, Makino).
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as ball screws, guideways, bearings, linear rails, gearboxes, spindles, and couplings.
· Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and maintain maintenance checklists.
· Dismantle, repair, and reassemble CNC mechanical components as needed.
· Check and align machine axes, spindle runout, backlash, and lubrication systems.
· Support installation and alignment of new CNC machines or retrofitting of mechanical parts.
· Maintain documentation of repairs, service logs, and parts replacements.
· Collaborate with electrical maintenance and production teams to reduce downtime and optimize machine performance.
· Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
· Monitor the condition of machine tools and advise on part replacements or upgrades.
