Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare and implement annual preventive and predictive maintenance schedules ensuring 100% adherence.
Handle shift operations, attend breakdowns promptly, and ensure minimum downtime of machines.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve MTTR & MTBF.
Plan and manage spare parts inventory for critical equipment.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure optimal resource utilization.
Ensure compliance with maintenance SOPs, QMS standards, and support TPM, TQM & 5S activities.
Coordinate with production, purchase, and vendors for smooth maintenance operations.
Manage maintenance manpower and supervise daily work performance on shifts.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 3-7 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in the Automotive or Bearing industry.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC/PLC systems, and machine troubleshooting.
Software Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic understanding of SAP.
Behavioral Competencies: Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving, team collaboration, and result-oriented approach.
