Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance & Repair Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform routine and preventive maintenance on various machinery, which includes CNC machines, woodworking equipment, and assembly lines. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in order to minimize downtime. It is crucial to maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. In addition to maintenance tasks, you will need to conduct regular inspections on machines to identify potential issues and ensure they are operating at peak efficiency. Testing and calibrating machinery to meet quality and production standards will also be part of your job responsibilities. You will be tasked with developing and implementing a preventive maintenance schedule for all production equipment. It is essential to coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to the production process. Providing technical support and guidance to the production team on equipment operation and maintenance will be required. Collaboration with the engineering team to modify or upgrade machinery for better performance and efficiency is also expected. Ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies is of utmost importance. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to workplace safety standards. Monitoring and managing inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment will be part of your duties. You will need to coordinate with suppliers to order and maintain a sufficient stock of essential parts. Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, machine performance, and downtime is critical. It will be your responsibility to prepare reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and performance improvements. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund.
