Maintenance Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and maintenance of machines involving PLC, HMI, relays, and sensors.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams/schematics for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Conduct root cause analysis (Why-Why Analysis) for recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse and reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
• Perform downtime analysis and initiate improvements to reduce unplanned stoppages.
• Basic troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain and repair spot welding, laser cutting, turret punch, rolling, and bending machines.
• Execute and track preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain the machine records & documentation.
• Basic troubleshooting of DG, Compressor, Chillers Etc

Preferred candidate profile

Experience - 1 to 5 years in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge :

• PLC, HMI systems, relays, sensors
• Electrical diagrams and control circuits
• Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Machines: Spot welding, laser cutting, turret punch, rolling & bending
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Root cause analysis (Why-Why)
• Data analysis of MTTR, MTBF, downtime
• Teamwork and communication
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, PLC software)
