Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team, specializing in the electrical maintenance of travelator units. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or ITI in Electrical Maintenance, coupled with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the escalator/elevator field, specifically focusing on the maintenance of travelators. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all travelator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and servicing of travelator units according to established schedules and procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in travelator systems.
• Execute corrective maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• Conduct thorough testing of travelator components and systems after repairs or maintenance to verify proper functionality and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and external contractors as needed.
• Identify potential issues and recommend improvements to enhance travelator performance and longevity.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and maintenance practices in the travelator/escalator industry.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Electrical Maintenance or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the escalator field.
• Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance of travelator units is essential.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components found in travelators.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with safety procedures related to electrical work and heavy machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
