Job Description

Key Responsibility:

1. Plant & Equipment Maintenance

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of reactors, condensers, heat exchangers, shredders, feeders, oil storage systems, pumps, blowers, and utility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and ensure timely repairs to avoid production downtime.
Inspect plant machinery, pipelines, burners, valves, pressure/temperature instruments, motors, and gearboxes regularly.

2. Breakdown & Corrective Actions

Diagnose equipment failure and implement corrective measures.
Maintain documentation of breakdown reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive actions.

3. Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
Perform equipment safety checks, pressure testing, leak testing, and ensure safe functioning of the pyrolysis reactor.

4. Planning & Coordination

Coordinate with production team for maintenance scheduling without affecting operations.
Prepare maintenance plans, spare parts lists, and inventory of critical components.
Work with external service providers/vendors when needed.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain maintenance logs, checklist records, AMC details, and equipment history.
Prepare daily/weekly maintenance reports for management.
