Storage Engineer

• Develop and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) plans

  , ensuring business continuity.



• Perform regular DR configuration and testing

  to validate recovery procedures.



• Manage and optimize IBM storage boxes

  for high performance and reliability.



• Perform storage capacity planning, upgrades, and configuration management

  .



• Monitor storage performance and troubleshoot storage-related issues

  .



• Maintain documentation

  of storage environments, configurations, and DR processes.



• Work with 3rd-party storage management products and reporting tools

  for performance analysis and optimization.



• Perform diagnostics and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  on storage and backup failures.



• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes

  related to incident, problem, and change management.



• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

  to ensure seamless storage operations.

  Skills & Qualifications:

  
  



• Strong experience with IBM Storage boxes

  and their performance tuning.



• Hands-on experience in Disaster Recovery planning, configuration, and execution

  .



• Expertise in storage management products and 3rd-party reporting tools

  .



• Deep understanding of ITIL processes

  and service management principles.



• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  .



• Ability to perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement preventive measures

  .



• Excellent documentation and communication skills
