Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using Cobol programming language.
Create and execute JCL jobs to process data on IBM mainframes.
Utilize CICS transactions to manage database interactions.
Implement VSAM files for storing and retrieving large datasets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues related to mainframe systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

5-10 years of experience in developing mainframe applications using Cobal programming language.
Strong understanding of JCL (Job Control Language) concepts and ability to write efficient job scripts.
Proficiency in creating and executing CICS transactions for database management.
Experience working with VSAM files for storing and retrieving large datasets.
