Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain

  mainframe applications (CICS & Batch)

  .
• Develop and enhance programs using COBOL,

  CICS,

  JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Work on online transaction processing using

  CICS

  .
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize CICS-based applications.
  
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  
• Participate in production support, issue resolution, and performance tuning.
  
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, and cross-functional teams.
  
• Prepare detailed technical documentation.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• CICS

• Good to have skills:

• VSAM,COBOL,JCL,DB2

• Experience with tools like

  File-Aid, Expeditor, Abend-Aid

  , etc.

Good to Have

• Experience with mainframe modernization/migration initiatives.
  
• Knowledge of REXX or CLIST scripting.
  
• Understanding of integration with distributed systems.
