Job Description

Summary :

Mainframe Developer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, IMS, and DB2.
  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in real-time environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation as part of the SDLC process.
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through efficient coding practices.


Technical Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in

    Mainframe Development

    .
  • In-depth hands-on experience with

    IMS

    and

    DB2

    .
  • Solid understanding of

    COBOL

    ,

    JCL

    , and other mainframe tools and utilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver development and enhancement projects within deadlines.
  • Experience working in Agile or similar collaborative development environments.


Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to solve real-time challenges using IMS and DB2.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
