We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable applications using DataStage ETL and COBOL
• Should be able to Work with Agile application dev team to implement data strategies, build data flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues optimizing system performance ensuring reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing system ensuring that information is accessible to the team.
• Create short-term plans to deliver environments to support sprint-based development.
• Implementing and monitoring solutions that identify both system bottlenecks and production issues.
• Creation of software deployment that allow DevOps engineers to successfully deploy sites/software in any environment.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience of Design, deploy, and manage scalable applications, ETL jobs using DataStage, understanding business requirements, creating designs, building MF Programs, jobs, & applications and providing estimations.
• Expertise in Data stage concepts, Control M scheduler, ETL Testing.
• Expertise in Unix shell scripting.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, Endevor, TWS scheduler, Testing Process and JIRA.
• Good understanding of Mainframe Batch Application concepts and should have experience in developing programs and handling JCL changes.
• Performing unit testing for every change, support System Testing team and troubleshoot issues/failures.
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries to perform data analysis.
• Should have good knowledge of Data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Agile way of working from initiation to implementation Experienced in working on DevOps/Agile operations process and tools.
