Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Layout: Create and design engaging and visually appealing Magazine layouts, including covers, interiors, and other related materials, using Adobe InDesign.
• Formatting: Ensure all content is formatted correctly, including text alignment, typography, spacing, and overall consistency throughout the publication.
• Typography: Select appropriate fonts and manage typography to enhance readability and visual appeal in line with the book s genre and audience.
• Publishing Standards: Maintain high standards in Magazine publishing by adhering to industry best practices, ensuring all files are print-ready and comply with publisher specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with authors, editors, illustrators, and other team members to incorporate feedback and make design adjustments.
• Quality Control: Review and proofread designs for accuracy and quality, making necessary revisions to ensure all elements are correctly aligned and formatted.
• File Management: Manage and organise files systematically, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future use or edits.
• Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously with proper prioritization, meeting deadlines, and managing time effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of 2 to 5 years in book design, layout, and formatting using Adobe InDesign.
• Strong portfolio showcasing book layouts, design skills, and an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of publishing standards and experience preparing files for print.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including

  InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

• Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in both print and digital Magazine design.

• Expert in Adobe InDesign.

• Familiarity with stylesheets, master pages, and other advanced InDesign features.
• Understanding of accessibility standards in publishing.

Work Location: Greater Noida

Candidate willing to relocate or commutes to Greater Noida.
