Machinist

We are looking for a skilled Machinist with expertise in Cylindrical Grinding to join our team at Capital Placement Services, located in sector 49, Gurgaon/Manesar. The ideal candidate will have 3-9 years of experience in tool room operations, specifically with grinding machines.

• Operate and maintain tool room machinery, focusing on grinding machines such as surface, cylindrical, and tool & cutter grinding.
• Perform precision machining for tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to design and production requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining requirements.
• Ensure proper tool setting, alignment, and inspection before starting operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting of grinding machines.
• Maintain tool quality standards by ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Handle measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, etc.) for tool inspections.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in tool room operations and support production teams by supplying accurate and timely tools for manufacturing.
• Maintain records of tool usage, maintenance, and inventory.

• ITI/Diploma in Tool & Die Making/Mechanical or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in tool room operations, specifically with grinding machines.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, jigs, dies, and fixtures.
• Ability to work independently with high precision and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CNC/conventional machines is an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
