Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team in the Tool Room, with 3-9 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool room operations, particularly with grinding machines.

Roles and Responsibility

Operate and maintain tool room machinery, focusing on grinding machines such as surface, cylindrical, and tool & cutter grinding.
Perform precision machining for tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to design and production requirements.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining needs.
Ensure proper tool setting, alignment, and inspection before operations.
Conduct preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting of grinding machines.
Maintain tool quality standards by ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Handle measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector) for tool inspections.
Adhere to safety and quality standards in tool room operations and support production teams by supplying accurate and timely tools.
Maintain records of tool usage, maintenance, and inventory.

Job Requirements

ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making / Mechanical or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in tool room operations, specifically with grinding machines.
Strong knowledge of cutting tools, jigs, dies, and fixtures.
Ability to work independently with high precision and attention to detail.
Familiarity with CNC/conventional machines is an added advantage.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
