Job Description

🔹Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor machines to ensure smooth and safe functioning. Set up machines according to specifications, blueprints, or job orders. Perform machining operations such as cutting, drilling, shaping, grinding, and finishing. Inspect finished products to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality compliance. Conduct routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary. Maintain production logs, quality reports, and safety records. Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to optimize output and reduce downtime. Adhere to all safety and operational procedures. 🔹 Qualifications & Skills ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Machining / Fitter trade (or equivalent). Proven experience as a machine operator, machinist, or similar role. Knowledge of machine shop practices, tools, and measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting. Discipline, punctuality, and ability to work in shifts. 🔹 Preferred Requirements Experience with CNC/Lathe/Milling/Grinding machines (based on your industry). Knowledge of quality checks using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
