Machine Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine & Technician Deployment

1. Execute deployment of machines and technicians across sites as per forecast plan in consultation with ROH.
2. Monitor scheduling vs. execution and minimise deviations.
3. Resolve resource movement issues to reduce idle time.

2. Site Visits & Assessments

1. Conduct visits to new sites for feasibility of machine deployment.
2. Assess electrical connectivity, storage, and potential hazards.
3. Guide electricians and technicians on safe connectivity and precautions.
4. Prepare and submit detailed site visit reports to Cluster Manager.

3. Maintenance & Upkeep of Machinery

1. Ensure preventive servicing is done as per defined manuals.
2. Track breakdowns, repairs, and resolution timelines.
3. Maintain regional stock visibility; raise requirements for spares procurement.
4. Conduct audits on spray quality and monitor material consumption.

4. Training & Capability Building

1. Conduct induction and assessments for technicians and electricians.
2. Organise refresher sessions on machine user manuals and best practices.

5. MIS & Reporting

1. Submit periodic reports to ROH and Maintenance Manager.
2. Ensure timely updates on ERP and PMS systems.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance
• Resource planning and deployment skills
• Risk assessment and problem-solving ability
• Training and team development capabilities
• Proficiency in ERP/PMS reporting tools

Qualifications & Experience

• Any Graduate
• 36 years of experience in machinery maintenance and regional operations
• Exposure to team handling and multi-site coordination preferred
