Machine Interface Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Machine Interface Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on developing healthcare integration systems. Role & Responsibilities:

• Should have familiarity or prior experience with socket programming, serial communication, C#, .NET, and other related technologies.
• Collaborate with senior developers to design, implement, and maintain software interfaces for healthcare integration systems.
• Assist in the development and testing of data exchange protocols such as HL7, ASTM, TCP/IP, and REST API.
• Work closely with the team to understand healthcare data formats and protocols, contributing to effective data exchange between various healthcare systems.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and best practices to develop intuitive, efficient, and maintainable software interfaces.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of database solutions, with a focus on MS SQL Server and SQL Lite.
• Develop an understanding of hospital and patient workflows to ensure software interfaces align with the practical needs of healthcare professionals.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation for software interfaces, ensuring clear and comprehensive technical records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software interfaces and integrations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and skill development.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and logic.
• Strong passion for software development and a desire to specialize in healthcare integration systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare data formats (e.g., HL7, ASTM) and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, REST API) is a plus.
