Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Advising on M&A Transactions:
Providing tax advice and support on various M&A transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, and restructurings.
Tax Due Diligence:
Conducting tax due diligence to identify potential tax risks and opportunities associated with a transaction.
Structuring M&A Deals:
Assisting in structuring transactions to optimize tax efficiency and achieve desired business objectives.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations throughout the M&A process.
Client Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored advice.
Team Leadership and Management:
Leading and managing teams of tax professionals, providing guidance, and ensuring high-quality work.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of corporate tax regulations related to M&A, including Exchange Control Regulations, SEBI Regulations, and stamp duty regulations
.
Experience in tax due diligence, structuring, and compliance
.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
.
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience
.
