Logistics Assistant

As a Logistics Assistant in the CRGO Steel Industry located in Vadodara, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily logistics operations and performing essential back-office tasks. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication will ensure smooth, efficient, and timely coordination between suppliers, customers, and internal teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments including dispatch planning, tracking, and documentation. - Communicate with transporters, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery schedules and provide status updates. - Prepare and maintain logistics documents such as challans, invoices, GRNs, and delivery notes. - Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management. - Ensure timely dispatch of materials and follow up on deliveries. - Handle returns, replacements, and discrepancies in shipments. **Back Office & Administrative Support:** - Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, invoices, and inventory. - Perform data entry and update ERP/Excel databases on a daily basis. - Assist in preparing reports including daily dispatch report, stock reports, MIS, etc. - Support sales and operations teams with required documentation. - Handle phone calls, emails, and other administrative tasks. **Customer Coordination:** - Respond to customer inquiries regarding dispatch, order status, and documentation. - Maintain professional communication and resolve basic operational issues. **Qualifications Required:** - Good knowledge of logistics processes and documentation. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and optional ERP systems. - Strong communication and coordination skills. - Ability to multitask and work under pressure. - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
