Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Logistics and Customs Management

  • Manage the complete supply chain lifecycle including procurement, transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory management, and payments
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs clearance, and documentation requirements (e.g., Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, E-way bills).
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import/export laws, tariffs, Incoterms, export regulations, trade sanctions, and STPI compliance, SVB, Bonds, Warehouse processes, including monthly form submissions.
  • Oversee transportation and freight management across all modes (sea, air, road, rail),optimizing cost, speed, and reliability.
  • Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA), customs offices, and monitor shipments (air, sea, hi-sea) ensuring adherence to restrictions and notifications.
  • Manage vendor relationships including carrier selection, freight contracts, and shipment tracking.
  • Conduct invoice verification and clearance in coordination with finance teams.
  • Analyze logistics data for SLA and KPI monitoring, driving continuous operational improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate logistics risks; develop and implement contingency and crisis management plans.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to support multi-departmental import/export processes and related projects.
  • Invoice and audit management
  • Reports generation and have knowledge of presentations
  • Process improvements for Pan India logistics and customs process
  • Drive automation on recurring task and set a efficient and effective process.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Manage end-to-end vehicle lease agreements, including vendor negotiation, lease

renewals, and cost control.

  • Oversee service coordination for company vehicles including booking, workshop

liaison, maintenance, pickup/drop-off arrangements.

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives for vehicle lease management.
  • Maintain and manage data for audits, approvals, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor SLA, KPI, and TATs to ensure vendor and driver performance; address and

resolve performance issues promptly.

  • Manage driver contracts with external vendors, including training, complaint

resolution, and compliance adherence.

  • Coordinate invoice management and payment clearance for lease and driver-related

expenses.

  • Serve as the point of contact for employees and leadership for all vehicle and driverrelated services, ensuring high service standards.
  • Standardize the Way of Working, making it lean and efficient
