Loan Processor

As a Mortgage Loan Processor at the back-office BPO supporting U.S.-based mortgage brokers, your responsibility involves reviewing borrower documentation, preparing loan files, and ensuring compliance before submission to underwriting. You are required to have a strong understanding of U.S. mortgage processes, broker workflows, and compliance regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, review, and verify borrower documents such as income, assets, credit, and employment. - Obtain all necessary disclosures and documents in accordance with TRID, RESPA, and CFPB guidelines. - Update and maintain loan data in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) like Encompass, Calyx Point, or LendingPad. - Review automated underwriting system findings and coordinate with third-party vendors. - Prepare complete loan files for underwriter submission and resolve any missing documentation. - Ensure loan files are cleared for closing by working with the lender. - Monitor loan pipeline to meet deadlines and SLAs while maintaining accuracy and compliance. - Collaborate with team members and Quality Control staff for accuracy and compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in U.S. mortgage processing on the broker or lender side. - Proficiency with Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass, Calyx Point, or similar platforms. - Knowledge of credit reports, DU/LP findings, and U.S. mortgage compliance regulations. - Strong analytical skills for income calculation and DTI analysis. - Effective written and verbal communication in English. - Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous Mortgage BPO/KPO experience. - Exposure to closing or post-closing functions. - Familiarity with broker-specific workflows.
