Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Loan Officer position based in West Bengal, India. The Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting customers with loan queries, evaluating loan applications, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations and policies. Day-to-day tasks include assessing creditworthiness, guiding clients through the loan application process, performing underwriting duties, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure the highest level of service delivery. Collaboration with various departments and ensuring timely loan approvals will also be part of this role.

Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of Loan Origination, Loan Products, and Underwriting processes.
Strong background in Finance and expertise in lending procedures.
Proficiency in Customer Service, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong client relationships.
Experience as a Loan Officer or in similar roles is preferred.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to evaluate creditworthiness effectively.
Proficiency in local languages spoken in West Bengal is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a relevant field is required.
