Key Responsibilities:

  1. Self-Sourced Sales & Business Development

    :
  • Generate business through direct client outreach, including cold calls, emails, and networking.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across sectors like corporate training, educational institutions, and professional development organizations.
  • Conduct product demos, presentations, and solution-based selling to prospective clients, effectively showcasing the value proposition of GroomLMS.
  1. Sales Pipeline Management

    :
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, driving business growth through self-sourced sales.
  1. Team Building & Leadership

    :
  • Once a strong pipeline is established, recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear performance targets for the team and ensure achievement through regular coaching, support, and motivation.
  • Create and implement sales training and development programs for the team to enhance their selling capabilities and product knowledge.
  1. Sales Process Setup & Optimization

    :
  • Design, implement, and refine the sales process to ensure seamless lead generation, follow-ups, and closures.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with product positioning and customer needs.
  • Use CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.) to manage sales activities and track progress.
  1. Market Research & Industry Insights

    :
  • Stay updated on industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities in the LMS and EdTech space.
  • Share insights and data with the leadership team to refine product offerings and sales strategies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the SaaS, EdTech, or LMS industry.
  • Proven track record of generating self-sourced business and meeting sales targets.
  • Strong leadership potential with the ability to build and lead a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales pipeline management.
  • Strong understanding of corporate training workflows and learning ecosystems.
