Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • System Installation/ Configuration: Install and configure Linux operating systems and applications (proxy servers, apache etc).
  • Mail Management: Gmail /squirrel mail/
  • User Management
  • System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and resource usage
  • Security Management: Implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and regular updates.
  • Backup and Recovery: Set up and manage backup solutions and perform data recovery when necessary.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Automation: Write scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Networking: Configure and manage network services like DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Package Management: .
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • BE/ BTech/MCA / M Tech/ Msc with specialization in computers or electronics or IT or MSc in
  • 3-6 yrs relevant experience
  • Should have working experience in Redhat Centos Linux.
  • Familiarity of windows environment is desireable
  • Should have worked with databases / protocols like MySQL MariaDB Ubuntu CentOS, LDAP POP IMAP and others
  • Decent Communication skills Hindi/ English R/W/S
  • Skills like Problem Solving, attention to detail and continous learning are advantageious
