Linux Systems Administrator

Role Overview: As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for various tasks related to system installation, configuration, monitoring, security management, backup and recovery, troubleshooting, automation, networking, package management, and documentation. You will work with Linux operating systems, applications like proxy servers and Apache, Gmail, Squirrel mail services, user accounts, and permissions. Key Responsibilities: - Install and configure Linux operating systems and applications - Oversee Gmail and Squirrel mail services - Handle user accounts and permissions - Monitor system performance and resource usage - Implement security measures like firewalls and intrusion detection systems - Set up and manage backup solutions and perform data recovery - Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues - Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks - Configure and manage network services - Manage software packages effectively - Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies Qualifications Required: - BE/ BTech/MCA / M Tech/ MSc with specialization in computers, electronics, or IT - 3-6 years of relevant experience - Experience working with Redhat CentOS Linux - Familiarity with the Windows environment is desirable - Experience with databases and protocols such as MySQL, MariaDB, Ubuntu, CentOS, LDAP, POP, and IMAP - Good communication skills in Hindi and English (Reading/Writing/Speaking) - Skills in Problem Solving, attention to detail, and continuous learning are advantageous Please note that this is a full-time position located in Hissar.,
