Linux System Administrator

Role overview

We are looking for a Linux System Administrator who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing Linux-based servers. The role involves monitoring systems, performing regular updates, handling server and network-related issues, and supporting cloud infrastructure. The candidate should be able to troubleshoot problems quickly and ensure smooth system operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux servers to ensure smooth and secure operations
• Perform system updates, OS patching, and server upgrades regularly
• Monitor servers, take backups, and ensure data safety
• Manage network security using VPNs and firewalls
• Configure and maintain web servers such as Apache and Nginx
• Handle basic database administration for MySQL and MongoDB
• Support cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or OVH
• Automate routine tasks using Bash or Python scripts
• Manage user access, devices, routers, and load balancers
• Collaborate with teams and clearly communicate technical issues

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate experience in Linux system administration
• Understanding of server security, networking, and backups
• Familiarity with cloud services and version control tools (GitHub/GitLab)
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
