Job Description

As a Linux System Admin Level 2, your role will involve supporting the customer base, both directly and indirectly. You will interact with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems in the Hosting Environment. Key Responsibilities: - Treat all customers in a professional and respectful manner - Handle technical support tickets from web hosting customers - Support the roll-out of new applications - Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone, and other electronic mediums - Troubleshoot a variety of technical issues customers are experiencing with their web hosting services - Prioritize and manage multiple open tickets at once - Successfully complete other duties and projects as assigned Qualification Required: - Computer Knowledge - Good Communication skills - B.Tech preferred - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) preferred - Willingness to work in a 24*7 environment - Experience with Hosting Control Panels (CPanel/WHM/Plesk) - Basic installation, server security, server monitoring - Excellent understanding of SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP, Exim - Installation and modification of Apache, Bind, DNS, PHP, MySQL, Perl - Managing server Backup/Restore - DNS Management - Ability to work well with a team, adapt to a constantly changing environment, and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues - Confident and passionate - Organizational skills with the ability to multitask by talking, using technology, and listening - Ability to troubleshoot web hosting and technical procedures as needed You should be dependable to be at work during assigned shifts and complete work as expected. The experience required for this role is at least 3+ years at the Level 2. CTC Package will be as per the eligibility of the candidate with at least a one-year service contract.
