Linux Server Administrator

As a Linux Server Administrator for ERP & Web Applications at Kalgidhar Trust, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our server performance. Your responsibilities will include monitoring server health, troubleshooting high CPU usage issues, optimizing server configuration, managing ERP & web application hosting, implementing security best practices, and automating backups to ensure uptime reliability. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu or CentOS, along with hands-on experience in server performance tuning and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Apache/Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, and PHP/Python-based applications is essential, as well as familiarity with cloud hosting services like AWS or DigitalOcean. Additionally, the ability to configure firewalls, SSL, and security patches is crucial. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools would be advantageous. You should possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, be able to work independently and in a team, and have previous experience in an educational setting (a plus). A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, with some work from home flexibility. The salary range for this position is 30000-45000 Rs per month.
