Linux Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Linux Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in managing Linux servers, providing support to development teams, and ensuring system reliability and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and services.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Manage system backups and recovery processes.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance on Linux servers.
• Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during outages.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Proficient in Linux distributions such as Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or Debian.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with shell scripting and automation tools.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of security best practices in Linux environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
