Role Overview: You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and related infrastructure. Your tasks will include writing scripts and automation tools for system provisioning and monitoring, troubleshooting OS-level issues and performance bottlenecks, and patching, upgrading, and hardening systems for security and compliance. Additionally, you will be involved in building and supporting virtualization and container environments like KVM and Docker. Collaboration with DevOps, security, and cloud teams on environment design, maintaining documentation, and participating in on-call rotations or incident response will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure - Write scripts and automation tools for system provisioning and monitoring - Troubleshoot OS-level issues and performance bottlenecks - Patch, upgrade, and harden systems for security and compliance - Build and support virtualization and container environments (e.g., KVM, Docker) - Collaborate with DevOps, security, and cloud teams on environment design - Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and system changes - Participate in on-call rotations or incident response Qualifications Required: - Proficiency with Linux administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.) - Strong scripting ability (Bash, Python, or Perl) - Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform - Understanding of networking protocols, DNS, and firewalls - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana) - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP Additional Details: - Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred - Equivalent hands-on experience also accepted - Certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), CompTIA Linux+, or LPIC-1 recommended - Analytical thinking, root cause analysis, ability to document and share knowledge, reliability in managing critical environments, self-motivation, and continuous improvement mindset are essential soft skills - Job Types: Full-time, Fresher Please note: Benefits include Provident Fund, and the work location is in person.
