Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and services. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Manage system backups and recovery processes. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance on Linux servers. Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards. Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during outages. Skills and Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in Linux system administration. Proficient in Linux distributions such as Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or Debian. Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with shell scripting and automation tools. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
