As a Solution Engineer at Zinnia, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, configuration, unit testing, installation, and continuous maintenance of Zinnia's Linux hardware and software platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with stakeholders to create solutions and products that meet the requirements of both internal stakeholders and clients, ultimately enhancing efficiency and service quality. You will have direct interactions with project leaders, business stakeholders, and clients, and will also mentor junior team members in soft skills and technical expertise. Additionally, you will collaborate with global teams, internal stakeholders, and customers, and offer guidance and support to the offshore Linux support team. Your responsibilities will also involve conducting root-cause analysis on Linux platforms, creating improved standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guidance, administering and supporting VMWare virtualization environments, and providing support on various Cloud Hosted environments using Cloud Technology. You should have 3 to 5 years of experience in managing middle-tier applications on hosted servers, familiarity with Middleware application performance monitoring tools, expertise in Linux/Windows server administration, VMWare ESXi administration, and knowledge of Bash, Perl, or Python script writing. Basic knowledge of data center setup, AWS services such as VPC, EC2 management, Storages, SES, Monitoring, and storage systems is required.
