Job Description

  • Provide support in Linux server management and cloud. Work on incidents and outages, support on-calls, and customer calls.
  • Independently plan and handle assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate with other teams in providing solutions to end customers and drive issues until closure.
  • Knowledge of ITSM - handling incident, service, change, and problem management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a positive can-do & self-starter attitude.
  • Managing & maintaining SUSE servers.
  • Managing IBM, DELL, Lenovo, Fujitsu, and HP HANA appliance servers.
  • Building/reimaging SUSE Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments.
  • Managing Linux virtual machines configured in ESX environments.
  • Providing Level 3 support to customers.
  • Managing the antivirus environment.
  • Patching and OS upgrades on SUSE servers.
  • Exposure to DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, and email services.
  • Knowledge of SAN or NAS environments.
  • Knowledge of RAID, LVM.
