Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all lighting and sound equipment for the auditorium.
• Collaborate with event organizers to plan and execute technical requirements.
• Set up, test, and calibrate audio and lighting for live events and rehearsals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly during events.
• Train and supervise technical support staff and volunteers.
• Manage inventory, schedule maintenance, and recommend upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and venue policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) managing lights and sound in a performance or events space.
• Proficiency with digital mixers, lighting control consoles, microphones, speakers, and related equipment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and calm under pressure.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in Audio Engineering, Lighting Design, Theatre Tech, or related field.
• Familiarity with lighting systems and audio-visual protocols.
• Experience coordinating with performing arts or academic institutions.
