About the Role:

Camera & Lighting Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Lighting Setup & Management: Assist in setting up lighting equipment such as stands, softboxes, reflectors, and modifiers.
• Camera Prep Support: Assemble rigs, attach accessories, prep lenses, and power camera units.
• Power & Cable Management: Handle power routing, extension boxes, and ensure all gear is safely cabled on set.
• On-Shoot Assistance: Respond to cinematographer instructions—adjust lights, reposition stands, switch batteries, etc.
• Gear Transport & Safety: Safely carry, move, and pack camera and lighting equipment before and after shoots.
• Equipment Maintenance: Support cleaning, checking, and minor maintenance of lights, tripods, cameras, and support gear.
• Footage Support (if required): Assist in transferring memory cards and drives post-shoot with proper labeling.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience assisting in film or video production (internship/freelance accepted).
• Basic understanding of lighting behavior (soft vs. hard light, color temperature, diffusion).
• Familiarity with video equipment: tripods, LED panels, DSLRs, or cinema cameras.
• Physically fit and able to lift or move heavy gear during setups.
• Calm, patient, and efficient under pressure.
• Team-first attitude with good listening and communication skills.
• Bonus: Passion to grow into cinematography or lighting design roles.
