Light Camera Assistant

As a Lighting & Camera Assistant, your role will involve supporting the cinematography and production teams during live shoots. You will play a crucial part in bringing visual stories to life by assisting in lighting setups, camera preparations, on-shoot assistance, equipment transport, and maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in setting up and adjusting lighting equipment such as stands, softboxes, reflectors, gels, and modifiers. - Understand and execute lighting directions (key, fill, rim, ambient) during live shoots. - Help assemble camera rigs, mount lenses, prep accessories, and ensure all gear is ready before each shoot. - Handle safe power distribution, cable management, and keep cables neatly organized for crew safety and workflow efficiency. - Be the on-set support for cinematographers by repositioning stands, adjusting lights, changing batteries, and prepping lenses. - Safely transport, load, and organize camera and lighting gear for indoor/outdoor shoots. - Assist in equipment maintenance, cleaning, inspection, data management, and post-shoot tasks. Qualifications & Requirements: - 02 years of experience in film or video production (internship/freelance experience accepted). - Basic understanding of lighting behavior (soft vs. hard light, color temperature, diffusion). - Hands-on experience with tripods, LED panels, DSLRs, or cinema cameras preferred. - Must be comfortable lifting and moving heavy production gear. - Calm under pressure, efficient communicator, and reliable team player. - Passionate about learning cinematography, lighting design, or production operations.
