The Role: Life Skills Coach

Life Skills Coaches

This is not about teaching from a manual. It’s about creating experiences that help learners discover who they are, how they think, and how they can grow.

• Equip them with skills to navigate uncertainty, manage emotions, collaborate, and lead
• Inspire them to see challenges not as obstacles but as opportunities for growth

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, interactive workshops and one-on-one sessions (primarily online).
• Coach learners on communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability, decision-making, resilience, teamwork, and leadership.
• Create safe, reflective spaces where learners can grow in self-awareness and confidence.
• Design learning experiences that are practical, relatable, and memorable.
• Inspire learners to apply life skills in both personal and professional contexts.
• Be a role model — embodying the very qualities you coach.

What We’re Looking For

• Education:

  Bachelor’s/Master’s in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or related fields.

• Experience:

  3–10 years in life skills coaching, training, counseling, facilitation, or personal development.

• Certifications:

  Coaching, Counseling, or Facilitation credentials are a plus.

Core Competencies:

• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to engage diverse groups with energy and authenticity
• Deep understanding of life skills and human behavior
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for inspiring growth
