Role Overview:

Liferay Practice Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Liferay Development

  : Develop, test, and deploy Liferay DXP solutions using Java, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.

• Application Architecture:

  Design and implement both client-side and server-side architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

• API Integration:

  Build and maintain REST APIs to ensure smooth communication between the front-end and back-end systems.

• Database Management:

  Develop and manage databases (e.g., MySQL) to ensure data accuracy and availability.

• Testing & Debugging

  : Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the application is bug-free and performs efficiently.

• Team Collaboration:

  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other developers, to develop and refine software solutions. Drive thought leadership, innovation, and IP development in the Liferay ecosystem. Establish delivery best practices, frameworks, and quality standards for Liferay projects.

• Documentation:

  Write clear and concise technical documentation for future reference and reporting.

• Business Development:

  Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to identify opportunities and support RFPs, proposals, and client presentations. Build relationships with key clients and stakeholders to expand Liferay footprints. Represent the organization in conferences, events, and partner forums.

Experience:

• Total 10+ Years of experience (5+ years in software development and Minimum 4 years in leadership roal)

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in front-end technologies such as Liferay MVC, Spring MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Java for back-end development.
• Strong experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Good to have hands-on exposure working on AWS cloud, Docker, or Kubernetes.
