License Management Analyst

As a License Management Analyst at our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our software licensing portfolio, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and effective license utilization across the enterprise. Your role will require a combination of technical expertise and business acumen to effectively manage software assets and licensing agreements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and track all software licenses, subscriptions, and technology assets. - Maintain accurate records of license agreements, terms, and conditions. - Create and manage license inventory database. - Process license requests and allocations. - Conduct regular license audits and reconciliation. - Ensure organizational compliance with licensing agreements. - Monitor and report on license usage metrics. - Identify and address potential compliance risks. - Maintain documentation for compliance audits. - Stay current with licensing regulations and requirements. - Serve as primary contact for software vendors. - Negotiate license agreements and renewals. - Maintain vendor relationships. - Coordinate with procurement for license purchases. - Review and validate vendor proposals. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field. ITIL certification preferred. - Experience: 3 years of related experience. - Licenses or Certifications: ITIL, CISA preferred. - 3+ years experience in software license management. - Intermediate in the use of Power BI & Data Analytics. - Experience with license management tools and systems. - Strong understanding of software licensing models. - Knowledge of contract management. - Advanced Excel and database management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. - Project management experience. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong time management and prioritization skills. - Adaptability to changing technology environments. - Knowledge of IT asset management principles. - Understanding of software deployment methods.
