Lending Officer, Associate

Role Overview: Deutsche Bank's Lending Asia team is seeking a Lending Officer, Associate in Mumbai, India. The team specializes in providing tailored liquidity solutions for ultra/high net worth individuals. As a part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with professionals in Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Key Responsibilities: - Handle initial financing enquiries and live execution - Conduct financial analysis of underlying companies and collateral, which may include credit fundamental analysis, financial statement analysis, comparable company analysis, valuation analysis, and financial modeling - Provide general industry overviews related to financing enquiries - Conduct research on sponsors/clients - Prepare transaction writeups and internal transaction presentations - Compile relevant research reports and ratings reports - Perform commercial, business, and financial due diligence in live transactions - Assist in credit approval analysis and address Risk Management queries - Monitor transaction covenants and information required periodically - Manage transaction amendments and credit renewal processes - Input new/renewed credit files and risk ratings into the lending digital platform - Participate in system testing - Contribute to potential ad hoc projects - Preferred experience in Private bank/Wealth Management, change management, and process improvement initiatives Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in credit analysis with a strong understanding of the Lending business - Highly motivated individual with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Proficiency in analyzing financial statements - Team player with a strong work ethic - At least 6 years of experience in a similar role in a financial institution - Attention to detail and a high level of motivation Company Details: Deutsche Bank is committed to fostering a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
