Job Summary:

Responsible for handling all legal matters of the company including legal research, drafting/reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance, supporting litigation, advising on corporate governance, and providing legal guidance to departments.

1. Conduct Legal Research

• Research legal issues and provide well-reasoned legal opinions.
• Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations.

2. Draft and Review Contracts

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure that contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies.

3. Compliance Monitoring

• Monitor the company's compliance with laws and regulations.
• Advise management on compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.

4. Litigation Management

• Assist in managing litigation cases, including case preparation and coordination with external legal counsel.
• Prepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, and pleadings.

5. Corporate Governance

• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies.
• Maintain corporate records, minutes, and resolutions.

6. Legal Advice and Support

• Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the company.
• Assist in resolving legal disputes and mitigating legal risks.

Working Conditions

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) with bar admission or equivalent legal qualification.

• Minimum 9–13 years’ experience

  in a manufacturing or project-based company.
