Internship Title: Legal Intern – NBFC (Muthoot Finance) 📅 Duration:6 Months 💰 Stipend:₹9,000 per month 🏢 Company:Muthoot Finance Ltd. 📍 Location: Pune Passing Year -2023,2024,2025 📝 Job Description The Legal Intern will support the legal and compliance functions of Muthoot Finance, an NBFC operating in the financial services sector. The role involves assisting the legal team with documentation, regulatory compliance, contract review, and providing support on legal matters related to loans, arbitration, and recovery. 🔐 Key Responsibilities1. Legal DocumentationAssist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting loan documents, agreements, notices, and affidavits. Ensure documentation accuracy as per internal policies and RBI guidelines. 2. Compliance & Regulatory SupportSupport the team in ensuring compliance with RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs. Maintain legal and compliance records, registers, and documentation. 3. Case Handling & Arbitration SupportAssist in preparing case files for arbitration and legal proceedings. Coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation and recovery cases. Help track case status and update internal systems. 4. Recovery & Field SupportSupport branch teams in the legal process for delinquent accounts. Draft notices for recovery under applicable laws. 5. Research & AdvisoryConduct legal research on NBFC regulations, consumer lending laws, and relevant statutes. Prepare briefing notes and summaries for internal use. 6. General Administrative Legal WorkAssist in maintaining digital/legal documentation repositories. Support the legal team in day-to-day operational legal tasks. 🎓 Eligibility completed LLB Strong interest in NBFC regulations, banking laws, and financial services. Good drafting, research, and communication skills. 💡 Skills Required Knowledge of Contract Act, Arbitration Act, and Banking/Financial Laws Legal drafting & documentation Research skills MS Office proficiency Attention to detail and professionalism
