Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Legal Head with 8 to 14 years of experience to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal matters related to mortgages and property management.

Roles and Responsibility

Review valuation and legal reports from vendors as per bank norms.
Scrutinize, inspect, and guide on legal matters relating to mortgages.
Manage land mortgageability and identify potential legal risks associated with freehold, leasehold, or agricultural properties.
Follow up with advocates for early action and disposal of pending cases.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Provide legal guidance and support to the team as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
Strong knowledge of legal matters related to mortgages and property management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
