Legal Executive (RERA)

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Executive (RERA) to join our legal team. The role involves handling all legal and compliance matters related to RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) for our real estate projects, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, assisting in drafting legal documents, and coordinating with government authorities, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

RERA Compliance:

• Ensure timely registration of real estate projects under RERA.
• Prepare, review, and submit RERA-related documentation, declarations, and affidavits.
• Handle project updates, quarterly compliance, and extension applications as per RERA requirements.

Legal Documentation:

• Draft, review, and vet legal agreements including Sale Agreements, Allotment Letters, Possession Letters, Builder-Buyer Agreements, etc.
• Assist in title verification and due diligence for land/property acquisitions.

Liaison & Coordination:

• Act as a point of contact with RERA authorities and other regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and finance teams for gathering necessary documents for RERA submissions.

Dispute Resolution:

• Assist in handling RERA complaints, legal notices, and litigation matters.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel for case hearings and legal proceedings.

Advisory & Risk Management:

• Provide legal opinions on project feasibility, compliance risks, and contractual obligations.
• Keep the management updated on changes in real estate and RERA laws, rules, and regulations.

Record Management:

• Maintain proper records of all legal and compliance documentation, including RERA certificates, agreements, and approvals.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: LLB/LLM (Specialization in Real Estate Law preferred)
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in legal function, preferably in the real estate sector with hands-on exposure to RERA compliance.
• Strong understanding of RERA Act, real estate laws, and contract management.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with online RERA portals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
