Legal Engineer

As a Legal Engineer, you are a technologically adept individual who recognizes the potential to enhance legal processes through the strategic application of technology. Your role involves collaborating with clients to comprehend their needs and working alongside the implementation and technology team to transform client requirements into AI solutions. You will be responsible for implementing legal engineering solutions and contract automation for customers, refining prompts to generate optimal outputs using client tools, and supporting machine learning and AI initiatives. Understanding customers" requirements for AI output and executing them using client tools, bridging the gap between current and future processes, and offering innovative solutions will be part of your daily tasks. Being responsive to customer needs, providing assistance in legal engineering and legal design matters, and ensuring that the AI software functions correctly and meets client requirements are crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in testing AI models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), and building proprietary datasets. The ideal candidate for this position is a law graduate (LL.B/LL.M) with 3-5 years of experience in corporate legal work, particularly adept at contract drafting, abstraction, review, and negotiation with a preference for experience in the tech or IT sectors. Proficiency in handling various legal document types is essential. A keen interest in legal technology and hands-on experience with AI tools like ChatGPT or similar platforms, familiarity with prompt engineering or AI-assisted legal workflows, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset are key qualities that will contribute to your success in this tech-driven legal ecosystem.,
