Role & responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will act as a key business-facing legal partner, supporting Delhiverys
logistics, technology, and SaaS-led offerings. The role requires a strong understanding ofbusiness propositions, operations, and technology, combined with the ability toindependently advise on legal and commercial risk.This role is suited for a hands-on legal professional who can quickly understand complexbusiness models, analytically assess legal implications within operations, and provide clear,pragmatic advice. The role involves high-stake contracting at scale and close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across business, operations, product, and finance.Core Expectations (Must-Have)• Develop a clear and quick understanding of business propositions, commercialmodels, and operational workflows.• Independently advise business teams on legal, commercial, and regulatoryimplications of proposed initiatives.• Apply risk-based decision-making, balancing legal exposure with business objectivesand scale considerations.• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements at scale, includinglogistics, technology, SaaS, and service-based contracts.• Handle high-stake negotiations involving significant commercial exposure and long-term business impact.• Ensure contracts accurately reflect business intent, operational realities, and riskallocation.• Identify and address gaps, inconsistencies, and latent risks in contractualframeworks.• Demonstrate a solid understanding of technology-enabled and SaaS-based businessmodels, including APIs, data flows, service availability, SLAs, and integration-ledservices.• Work closely with senior business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, providingclear, concise, and business-friendly legal advice.

Preferred candidate profile

• L.B. or LL.B. + LL.M. from a recognised institution, with a preference for candidates from an integrated 5-year law programme.

• 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contracting. • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with a commercial mindset. Interested Folks, please fill the below google form.
