Legal Associate

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Law Expertise

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (e.g., vendor agreements, service contracts, partnership agreements).
• Advising on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Assisting with company secretarial work, board resolutions, and statutory filings.
• Supporting M&A transactions, including due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
• Handling legal aspects of fundraising and investment documentation.

Intellectual Property (IP) Expertise

• Managing IP portfolios (trademarks, copyrights, patents), including filings and renewals.
• Drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements (licensing, technology transfer, NDAs).
• Conducting IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Advising on IP strategy, infringement risks, and enforcement actions.
• Coordinating with external counsel for IP litigation or prosecution.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Working closely with R&D, marketing, and product teams to identify and protect innovations.
• Ensuring IP compliance in marketing and branding initiatives.

Regulatory & Risk Management

• Monitoring changes in corporate and IP laws and advising on impact.
• Implementing internal policies for IP protection and corporate compliance.

Education & Experience

• LL.B / LL.M
• Relevant experience in corporate law and IP (law firm or in-house experience preferred).
