Legal Associate/Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive

  Legal Due Diligence

  for property and collateral documents.
• Vet and review legal documents including

  Sale Deeds, Gift Deeds, Agreements, Revenue Records

  , and other title documents.
• Verify chain of title, ownership history, encumbrances, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Carry out

  inspection and scrutiny

  of originals and certified copies of legal documents.
• Prepare

  Due Diligence Reports

  , notes, and legal opinions for internal teams or clients.
• Coordinate with external advocates, bank officials, and government offices for document collection and clarifications.
• Identify legal risks and provide timely recommendations to safeguard company interests.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support the legal team in litigation-related documentation, notices, and case updates (if required).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. preferred but not essential.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience with Banks, NBFCs, or law firms handling property and document vetting.
• Strong knowledge of property laws, stamp duty regulations, registration processes, and revenue records.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and document-review skills.
• Ability to interpret complex documents and identify discrepancies.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
