As an Economics Lecturer at The AIMS, your role involves developing and delivering engaging lectures for PUC students. You will create a comprehensive curriculum aligned with educational standards and assess student performance through various methods such as exams and projects. Your responsibilities also include encouraging student participation, staying updated with recent developments in Economics, and integrating relevant topics into lessons. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance educational offerings, providing academic support to students, and incorporating technology effectively into teaching are essential aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver engaging lectures in Economics for PUC students - Create a comprehensive curriculum aligned with educational standards - Assess and evaluate student performance through exams and projects - Encourage student participation and foster a motivating learning environment - Stay updated with recent developments in Economics and integrate relevant topics into lessons - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational offerings - Provide academic support and guidance to students - Incorporate technology effectively into the teaching process - Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to institutional goals - Prepare instructional materials, including handouts and multimedia presentations - Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions and debates - Monitor and report on student progress to ensure learning objectives are met - Address classroom challenges promptly and effectively - Inspire students to explore real-world applications of economic principles - Promote ethical considerations in economic discussions Qualifications: - Master's degree in Economics or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role - Strong knowledge of Economics, including micro and macroeconomics - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to engage and motivate students - Experience with curriculum design and lesson planning - Proficient in using educational technology in the classroom - Strong organizational and time management skills - Commitment to continuous professional development - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues - Passion for teaching and student success - Flexibility and adaptability to changing educational landscapes - Experience in academic advising or mentorship is a plus - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities - Knowledge of assessment techniques and tools - Enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive classroom environment,
